Rocky
The Hoosier Dog Trainer did an excellent job training our beagle puppy, Rocky. Our family is now able to really enjoy him and to spend quality time with him. Rocky can now heel, sit, stay and come on command. In addition, he no longer jumps on us, which we love! I would strongly recommend David. His training was well worth the investment for us. - Candy and Ryan / Westfield

Dakota
We got Dakota at a shelter when he was 3 months old. He is a very active terrier beagle mix. When we decided to take him to David for training we had had him about 2 months and wanted to be more in control of him (he is very rambunctious). After the 12 days with David, he was calmer and much easier to walk. I won’t say there aren’t times when he is unruly and stubborn. He is a puppy and at times we do have to work hard on the rules. But I truly believe that his training time is going to make him a great dog. We often get comments about how well behaved he is when we are out walking and he really is.

Bailey
Looks are deceiving. This adorable little dog quickly became known as the demon dog from hell. She was about 7 months old when someone dumped her in the country, so we don’t know much about her background. The only thing that we knew for sure about her was that someone had let her go wild. Living with her became intolerable. She was hyperactive, stubborn, and chewed everything – including people. She wasn’t a mean, aggressive dog, but everything and everyone was her toy. The stress she created was taking a toll on our household.

We didn’t dislike anyone enough to try to pawn the dog off on them and we knew her fate if we took her to a shelter. There had to be another option. Thankfully, I stumbled onto David’s website. While I liked what I read, I wasn’t sure anyone had a chance for success with Miss Bailey. Seeing no other option, we decided to give him a shot with her. We signed her up for the two-week course because we knew she was going to need more than a couple of days, but largely, just to give us a break. Two weeks without the demon dog from hell! We were ecstatic about that.

When we picked her up two weeks later, we could hardly believe it was the same dog. We were amazed as we watched David work with her and saw how well she took instructions from him.

Of course she tested us when we got home, but with consistency and the follow up sessions with David, we now have a dog that we can love. Her personality is starting to match that sweet face. One other thing that really impressed us was Bailey’s reaction to seeing David when we would take her back for her follow up sessions. She was always so happy to see him again. She had definitely bonded with him. We have recommended David to others and have heard nothing but positive comments from everyone who has put their dog in his hands. His love for dogs and his training techniques can really make a difference – no matter how difficult the dog.

Remmy
I adopted an abandoned Pit Bull named Remmy about a year ago. Before training, Remmy dug a hole in my mattress, jumped all over people when they came over, chewed up the side of my couch, pulled me down the street when walking, tripped me when running and would not listen at all. My frustrations with him were due to a lack of time with my work schedule. Being able to take him to David and have him work with him solidly for two weeks set a major foundation with his training. Also, the time that David spent with me was really priceless and I learned a lot. Remmy is an absolute joy to walk and run with now as he stays by my side.

I have had people actually stop me on the street and comment on what a well behaved dog he is. My family has noticed a huge improvement and commented on how well behaved he is now. Since Remmy is a Pit Bull, having him well behaved and trained is important especially with educating others that these can be good dogs when placed in the right home. Remmy has always had a special place in my heart, but now he is an absolute delight and I look forward to seeing him every day.

Duchess
I am very pleased with the positive change in Duchess and the fact that Brenda can walk her now without being dragged along behind her. I knew that Duchess was a special dog, and the training brought out the jewel that I knew that she was. Her high energy is contained and she is a pleasure share our lives with. Thank you very much.

Chloe
We adopted Chole from the Hamilton County Humane Society. She was so sweet and playful. Later that playfulness became a problem because everything became her toy…the kids…trash…toilet paper…you name it! She needed more exercise, but it was impossible to walk her on a leash. She would also bolt out of any open door. We were so worried she would get hurt. We were frustrated and she was too. Chole’s behavior was putting a lot of stress and strain on our family. That’s when we brought her to you. We could not believe the difference two weeks could make! She is a dream walking on the leash now. She even stays right with us off the leash. She’s no longer running out the door every time it opens. We love the “place” command. No more begging at the dinner table. We are definitely happier and I think Chole is too. Thanks, David!
