Meet the Hoosier Dog TrainerDavid Wood is a lifelong dog lover and owner. He is a native of central Indiana, a graduate of the Master Trainer Program from the internationally recognized National K9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio, and is a certified professional trainer. He is also a certified instructor in the Force Free™ Method of dog training. David’s technique stresses a fair and consistent approach based on voice, touch motivation, and pack drive. His passion is the family dog. He works with owners and families to teach them how to understand and communicate with their pets.

Prior to working as a trainer, David worked over 20 years as a radio personality and manager, most recently spending nearly 13 years as the Director of Programming for a local radio group including market-leading WFMS. He currently shares his den with his two rescue dogs, a Toy Fox Terrier, Truman and a Collie/Shepherd mix, Dallas.
